Protect your account and recover access

Use a strong password and save one-time recovery codes before you need them.

Step by step

  1. Open your avatar and choose Account & security. Check your username and recovery-code status.

  2. To change your password, enter the current password and a new, unique password of at least 8 characters, then confirm it.

  3. Generate recovery codes using your current password. Save or download the eight codes somewhere private and offline before closing the screen.

  4. If you forget your password, use the recovery option on the sign-in page with your username and one unused code to set a new password.

  5. After recovery, sign in again. Generate a replacement set if codes were lost or exposed; a new set invalidates all older codes.

  6. Open Notifications from navigation or the header bell. In Email preferences, select the community and save your preferred categories, language and frequency. No email is the default; individual updates and daily summaries are saved preferences while delivery remains disabled.

Before you continue

  • Codes are shown only when generated, and each works once. Never share your password, invitation link or recovery codes.
  • Your personal account can create a new community or accept a private invitation to an existing one. Register your community creates an account for a new association; it does not verify email or join another association automatically.
  • A password change signs out other sessions; recovery signs out all sessions. Email password-reset links are not configured. If you have neither your password nor a saved code, contact the operator through your established contact channel.
