Join a conversation and moderate fairly
Use topics and replies for community discussion, with recorded reasons when moderators hide content.
Step by step
Open Community forum and choose Start a conversation. Give the topic a clear title and write your message.
Open an existing topic to read its replies or add your own. Keep personal or sensitive information out of public-to-members discussion.
Board or moderator: select Moderate on a topic or reply that needs intervention and enter a clear reason.
Confirm the action. Members see that the item was hidden by moderation, and the reason is recorded in the audit history.
If a discussion needs an informal poll, submit a separate proposal so the board can review its question and choices.
Before you continue
- Moderation hides the selected forum item; it is not a general account deletion tool. A moderated topic no longer accepts replies.
- New topics and replies appear in other eligible members’ notification center. Hidden content is not exposed through a notification. No email is sent.
- Moderator access permits forum moderation. It does not grant board controls for properties, invitations, billing or agenda publication.
